It has been more than three weeks since Lesson 2 published. For those who have been waiting for the lesson, I am truly sorry. I was very busy working last month.
This time, lets learn about describing places.
Lesson 3: Describing Places
Ms A: It has been quite some time (since the last time we met). How are you?
[Ohisasshiburi desu. Ogenki desu ka?]
Mr B: Yes, it has. I am fine, thank you. Were you busy at work?
[Sou desu ne. Watashi wa genki desu. A-san no shigoto wa isogashii desu ka?]
Ms A: I'm sorry, I was busy (at work). I went to China for a business meeting. Are you going somewhere?
[Sumimasen deshita. Hataraku koto ga chotto isogashikatta desu. Chugoku e kaigi ni ikimashita. B-san wa doko e ikimasuka?]
Mr B: I am going to that blue building (over there). (Do you know) where is the train station?
[Achira no aoi biiru e ikimasu. Eki wa doko desu ka?]
Ms A: I see. There is no train station in this building. But, you can take (board) a bus over there.
[Naru hodo. Kono biiru de eki wa arimasen. Demo, sochira de basu o noremasu.]
Mr B: Can I take a bus to that building?
[Asoko ni basu de ikemasu ka?]
Ms A: Yes. You can take any bus to go there. Are you going on your own?
[Hait. Dochira basu mo ikemasu yo. B-san wa jibun de ikimasuka?]
Mr B: I understand, thank you. I am going with my office colleagues. They are waiting for me over there.
[Wakarimashita, arigatou.
Ms A: I see. See you next time.
[Sou. Jya, matta aimashou.]
